CENTRAL, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Fire crews are on scene of a brush fire in Pickens County, believed to have started due to a downed power line, per crews on scene.

The fire occurred in a wooded area behind a neighborhood between Daniel High School and RC Edwards Middle School in Central.

Central Fire Department, Six Mile Fire Department and Liberty Fire Department are on scene.

No injuries are reported.

Crews say the fire is under control. They believe it was started by a downed power line.
