PIEDMONT, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Fire crews are on scene after extinguishing a brush fire near Woodmont High School in Greenville County Saturday that they believe to have started after a car accident.

The brush fire occurred on West Georgia Road.

Crews on scene say it appears to be a car accident that started the fire. The car reportedly crashed into a power line.

No injuries have been reported at this time.

The fire has been extinguished.

The South Greenville Fire Department is the main department on scene.
