ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies and police officers from throughout Anderson County picked up Thanksgiving baskets to give to needy families throughout the county Tuesday morning.

The baskets contained turkeys and all the ingredients needed to cook a complete Thanksgiving feat.

Funding for the baskets was providing by the law enforcement officers who make up Anderson Co. Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 10. The basket delivery is also made possible through a partnership with Good Neighbor Cupboard in Anderson.

The Thanksgiving baskets will be distributed to about 50 pre-selected families.
