SIMPSONVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A vintage World War II aircraft was found upside down on a private runway in Simpsonville on Tuesday.

No word yet on how many were on board, but the plane holds a maximum of four people.

An initial 911 call came in from a woman at 1:34 p.m., reporting the plane was upside down on the runway located on Cruisair Court at Parker Field Airport.

Dispatch said one male passenger was able to crawl out of the plane with minor injuries.

Clear Spring Fire Department and EMS are on scene.

No injuries have been reported thus far, dispatch said.

The coroner has not been called.
