GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenlink is offering riders free bus rides on all routes Wednesday, according to a news release.

Fare Free Day is made possible through Greenlink’s partnership with Orianna Health Systems, which operates seven skilled nursing centers in Greenville County and Fare Free Day is designed to help facilitate visits with family members. According to Stacy Cape, senior regional director of admissions, Orianna is proud to partner with Greenlink to offer this fare free day as a way to introduce public transit to those who may not have considered it as a transportation option. "Since transportation is often cited as a barrier to improving quality of life, Orianna hopes that Fare Free Day will help remove that barrier and make it easier for people to spend time with their families during the Thanksgiving holiday," said Cape.

Routes 1 - 14 operate from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Route 16 operates from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Schedules and estimated time stops for all routes are available at www.ridegreenlink.com.
