GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Dispatchers said Wednesday evening that a fire was burning on Paris Mountain in Greenville.

Parker Fire Department was on the scene battling the blaze behind Home Depot on N Pleasantburg Drive in Greenville.

At last check, fire crews were putting out hot spots from the fire.

Officials with Parker Fire Department noted dry weather conditions, and said crews had battled several grass fires Wednesday.

As of Wednesday evening around 6:30 p.m., fire crews said the only thing found on the scene that may have caused the incident was a camp fire. Fire officials are still unclear if the camp fire started the blaze, and are looking into it.
