The day will warm up quickly with sunny skies. Highs reach the mid-70s Upstate and upper 60s for the mountains. If the Upstate were to reach 76 degrees, it would tie a record from 1931.
Tonight, lows drop back into the 30s and 40s, followed by more seasonable conditions over the weekend. Saturday and Sunday will stay in the 50s to mid-60s with sunshine, so there should be no weather problems for the big Clemson-Carolina rivalry game!
Our next rain chance comes on Tuesday and Wednesday as another cold front makes its way in from the west that might help us out with our 1-foot rain deficit across the area. We’ll keep you posted as more data becomes available.
