Fire crews respond to fire at Hollywild Animal Park

WELLFORD, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A fire occurred at Hollywild Animal Park in Spartanburg County early Saturday morning.

A spokesperson for Hollywild reports an iWitness said the fire appeared to have started in a trash can beside the concessions building at the Santa's Village area of the attraction. The exact cause has not yet been determined.

The fire has been put out.

No people or animals were hurt.

The fire has no effect on the Holiday Lights Safari Benefit. It will continue as scheduled through Jan 2.
