Troopers, coroner respond to fatal motorcycle collision in Anderson Co.

ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Troopers responded to a deadly collision involving a motorcycle early Sunday morning in Easley.

The collision occurred at 1:20 a.m. a little more than one mile east of Easley on Pelzer Highway at Hunt Road. State Troopers, the coroner, EMS and Three & Twenty Fire Department were on scene.

According to the report, the motorcycle driver and one passenger were traveling east on SC8 when they ran off the right side of the roadway striking a guardrail. The driver, 47-year-old Dallas Brown Warren of Pelzer Highway in Easley, was not wearing a helmet and ejected, hitting a guardrail on Hunt Road. He was pronounced dead on scene.

Warren's cause of death was ruled by the coroner as severe head trauma. The coroner said Warren was intoxicated during the crash.

The passenger, a 36-year-old female from Easley, was wearing a helmet and ejected. According to a witness on scene, she was trapped under the motorcycle. She was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

Her current condition is unknown.
