Spartanburg postpones annual Christmas festival due to rain

SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The City of Spartanburg announced their annual event Dickens of a Christmas has been postponed.

The city stated the event was scheduled for Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Main Street in Historic Downtown. They said the festival was postponed and moved to Thursday due to forecast rain.

The festival will have many attractions including live festive Christmas music, carolers dressed in Victorian garb, living window displays, horse-drawn carriage rides, ice skating on Morgan Square and the lightning of the Christmas tree at Denny’s Plaza.
