HENDERSONVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

North Henderson High School's football coach, Justin Clark, resigned as head football coach after one season on Nov. 28 because of the desire to spend more time with his family.

Henderson County Public Schools said the staff and administration thanked Clark for his work with the students and athletes.

They stated North Henderson High will be accepting applications from qualified individuals who are interested in the position of head varsity football coach until the position is filled.

Anyone interested should submit their applications to Athletic Director John McDaris at jrmcdaris@hcpsnc.org or Principal John Shepard at jscshepard@hcpsnc.org
