Strong storms leave damage in Upstate

Dispatchers reported damage in the Upstate due to weather conditions on Wednesday afternoon.

In Greenville County, dispatchers said there are power lines in Eastview Road in Greenville. Skywarn Carolina posted on its Twitter page there are trees and lines down in West Georgia Road in Simpsonville.  

According to dispatchers, a tree fell in Oconee County at Fairplay around 3 p.m. which was removed a short time later.

Dispatchers also announced that an outbuilding fell in Anderson County, however they are not sure if it was due to weather.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported trees down at the following locations:

  • Hickory Lane near Eastview Drive
  • Clamp Drive near Docheno Road
  • Martin Lane near Blackman Road
