CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Panthers coach Ron Rivera says he's looking forward to a lighter, more confident Cam Newton testing out his surgically repaired throwing arm Wednesday night. Newton reported to training camp on Tuesday at Wofford College at 246 pounds - lighter than he has been in years.

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - Panthers star tight end Greg Olsen reported to training camp on time, saying he didn't want to hold out and be a distraction to the organization. Olsen has two years left on his contract, but has outplayed his current deal in becoming the first tight end in NFL history with three consecutive 1,000-yard seasons.

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Team Penske has reached an agreement with 2012 NASCAR Cup champion Brad Keselowski on a multiyear extension. The 33-year-old Keselowski has driven for Penske throughout his 10-year career in NASCAR's top series, notching 23 wins and the series title five years ago.

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - There's going to be a whole lot of Love at the Wyndham Championship. Tournament director Mark Brazil said Tuesday that Dru Love received a sponsor's exemption to next month's event and will join his father - three-time winner Davis Love III - in the field. The two Loves played The Greenbrier Classic and the Barbasol Championship together, and Davis Love III caddied for his son at the U.S. Open.
