Sheriff's office: Suspect who fled deputies arrested in Anderson Co.

ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A suspect accusing of fleeing from deputies through the back window of a home was captured after a brief manhunt Thursday morning, according to Nikki Carson with the Anderson County Sheriff's Office.was called to the scene of a chase reported Thursday morning.

Deputies were serving warrants at a home on White City Park Road when the suspect slipped out the back window and ran, Carson said.

Deputies caught the suspect and arrested the suspect a short time later. The sheriff identified him as Joshua McCurley and said he is charged with grand larceny, third-degree burglary and violation of probation.
