Asheville PD: 4 officers injured by explosive device, suspect unidentified

ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

The Asheville Police Department is working to identify a suspect involved in the injury of four officers.

Police said on June 10 around 9:45 p.m., a suspect at Livingston Apartments threw a firecracker or explosive device at Housing Unit officers on foot patrol.

The officers were struck and transported to Mission Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect has not been identified.
