Deputies: Man charged after victim shot in legs in Union Co.

UNION, SC (FOX Carolina) -

An Upstate man has been arrested and charged after a victim was shot in Union.

Union County deputies responded to a shooting on the 3000 block of Lockhart Highway Tuesday night.

Upon arrival on the scene, deputies said they located a man shot in the legs. The incident report states that deputies administered care to the victim until EMS arrived and treated him.

Deputies said 48-year-old William Bradley Childers of Union was arrested and charged with weapons violations in connection with the incident.
