Bond denied for man charged in of shooting 10-year-old boy

GAFFNEY, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Allen Charron Williams Jr., charged in the shooting of a 10-year-old boy in Gaffney, was denied bond on Thursday, according to the boy's grandmother.

It was Williams Jr.'s third attempt at making bond on the attempted murder charge.

Williams Jr. was charged after being identified by witnesses as the man who shot at 10-year-old Caleb Donald as he and his father rode in their pickup truck, wounding him in the face.

Family says Upstate boy injured by shotgun blast to be released from hospital

Caleb's grandmother launched a GoFundMe campaign to help the family pay for gas as they travel to and from the hospital, as well as for food and medical supplies, during Caleb's recovery.
