Clemson PD: 2 arrested after investigation into meth trafficking

CLEMSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Clemson Police Department has arrested two people following an investigation into methamphetamine trafficking in the city, according to police Chief Jimmy Dixon.

Police said they were following up on tips about a person selling meth from a business in the city.

The investigation led police to Tony Jenkins.

Police said Jenkins was found in possession of 15 grams of crystal methamphetamine among other items that had been stolen from burglaries and car break-ins.

Jenkins is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, trafficking methamphetamine within the proximity of a school, possession of stolen goods, possession of a controlled substance schedule IV.

Police said Lindsay Brooke Wood of Seneca was also arrested with Jenkins.

Wood was charged with possession of stolen goods.
