Police investigating after 2 found shot at Spartanburg apartments

SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Spartanburg Police Department is investigating after two people were found shot at Norris Ridge Apartments on Thursday night.

Officers said they were dispatched to the complex on Norris Street around 11:15 p.m. where they located two male victims who suffered gunshot wounds.

The victims were transported to the hospital via EMS.

According to the police report, one witness said she heard approximately 10 gunshots and came outside to see a man in all black running away from the scene.

Three people told police their apartments were damaged by the shooting. Officers noted bullet holes through several front doors and victims' windows.

Officers were also dispatched to a nearby crime scene on Norris Court, where they located blood in the roadway, according to the report.

The incident remains under investigation.
