Texas Roadhouse in Anderson hosts fundraiser for fallen deputy

ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Texas Roadhouse in Anderson is holding a fundraiser Tuesday night to benefit the Deputy Devin Hodges Memorial Fund.

Deputy Devin Hodges of the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office was killed in a tragic training accident on June 1.

Hodges, another deputy and a US Army engineer were thrown from a boat and Hodges’ life vest became entangled in the boat’s propeller, according to the coroner’s report.

The Texas Roadhouse of Anderson said it will donate 20 percent of all food sales between 5 and 9 p.m. Tuesday to the Deputy Devin Hodges Memorial Fund, which was established to benefit the Hodges’ family after the deputy’s death.

The restaurant is located at 4119 Clemson Boulevard.
