Spotty downpours will continue this afternoon and into the evening as conditions remain warm and very humid.
Thursday looks to be one of the rainiest days of the next 7 as moisture in association with Tropical Storm Cindy spreads into the Carolinas while it makes its way inland toward the Louisiana/Texas coast.
Expect scattered to widespread showers with embedded pockets of heavy rain at times through the day Thursday.
Friday, rain chances decrease somewhat in the Upstate with the bulk of the rain chances being confined to the mountains. Rain chances could increase area-wide late Friday night into Saturday as the remnant circulation of Cindy passes by along an approaching front.
Rain chances should begin to decrease Sunday into Monday as said front passes through the region.
