Dispatch: Multi-county chase ends in wreck in Greenville Co.

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Anderson County dispatchers confirm a traffic stop resulted in a multi-county chase and a crash Tuesday night.

Deputies stopped a vehicle on Smythe Street in Pelzer at about 10:30 p.m. and then a chase ensued, dispatch said.

The chase went from Anderson County to Greenville County, resulting in a wreck at 10:41 p.m., per dispatch.

According to the SC Highway Patrol Realtime Traffic Information system, there is a reported crash on S Piedmont Highway at Smith Street. We are working to confirm if this is where the chase ended.
