City of Greer's Freedom Blast celebration set for Saturday

GREER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The city of Greer is ready to celebrate America's freedom a bit early.

Freedom Blast 2017 will be held this Saturday night from Greer City Park, combing food, live music and a huge fireworks display.

According to the website for Freedom Blast, the event was started to celebrate freedom and honoring active and veteran servicemen and servicewomen.

Freedom Blast blasts off at 6pm Saturday June 25th with fireworks ending the big night at around 10 p.m.

Admission is free to the event, but several food vendors will be on site as well.
