GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville police said two people driving a car connected to a Mississippi carjacking are in custody following a chase through Greenville County Thursday.

Police said officers ran a check on a vehicle with a Mississippi license plate and learned the vehicle was in involved in a carjacking in that state.

The chase started on Pettigru Street when officers attempted a felony traffic stop, then continued onto I-385, down Haywood Road, Laurens Road, and onto I-185.

Eventually, police said suspects bailed from vehicle on foot after stopping on Fork Shoals Road..

Our FOX Carolina crew at the scene said the chase ended at Gospel Baptist Church on North Old Fork Shoals Road.

The suspects were arrested after a short foot chase and police said a gun was seized.

Greenville County deputies assisted Greenville City Police with the chase.

Belton Fire Department and EMS also responded to the scene.

The suspects have been identified by police as Lance Haberle and Amanda Breazeale.

Breazeale was charged with interfering with police, fugitive from justice with more charges possibly being filed tomorrow.

Breazeale was charged with possession of stolen goods, failure to stop for blue lights, interfering with police, reckless driving, possession of stolen vehicle, and fugitive from justice.

Both suspects are also wanted in Mississippi, according to Perry County Sheriff Mitch Nobles.

Nobles said Breazeale is accused of stealing a car from another woman at knife point earlier in June.

Breazeale is then believed to have fled the state with Haberle and traveled into Louisiana, where Nobles said the duo is suspected in multiple robberies.

The Mississippi Department of Corrections has signed a warrant for Harberle for cutting off an ankle monitor before leaving the state, Nobles said.

Nobles said the suspects were believed to have been traveling in the same stolen car when they were arrested in Greenville.

"They were definitely on a rampage," Nobles said.

Greenville police said the investigation is ongoing.
