GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

You can find fun - and a new friend - at Greenville County Animal Care this weekend.

During the "Big Lick" event, Animal Care officials said all dogs, cats, puppies and kittens are FREE to adopt on Saturday.

And if that's not convincing you to come out, there will be free ice cream and "pupcicles" too!

The event, focused on ending pet homelessness and building a no-kill community, will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Greenville County Animal Care located at 328 Furman Hall Road. It will feature special activities like the '"licking booth" and training courses.
