Some former USC and Clemson basketball stars are heading to the NBA.

Sindarius Thornwell was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks with the 48th overall pick in the second round of the NBA draft. He was then traded to the Los Angeles Clippers.

The former Gamecocks guard was named SEC Player of the Year in his senior season and played an integral role in leading the Gamecocks on their improbable run to the Final Four.

The Official Twitter account for South Carolina Men's Basketball posted a video in honor of the announcement:

Former Clemson Tiger Jaron Blossomgame was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs as 59th pick in the second round of the NBA draft.

Clemson's 6'7" star forward passed up the NBA draft last year to return for his senior season. The 24 year-old Alpharetta, GA native became the first  player in two decades to lead the Tigers in scoring for three consecutive seasons.

Another star from South Carolina's roster, PJ Dozier wasn't selected in the draft Thursday night but has reportedly agreed to play for the Los Angeles Lakers as a free agent.
