The man was heavily intoxicated and told officers he had injured himself when he walked into some sort of flower pot in the downtown area, police said.

Police were unable to find the actual location where the injury occurred but did find a large pool of blood along Washington Street.

The man was taken to the hospital.

Police said they do not expect any charges in the case.
