SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Spartanburg Police Department said an arrest was made after a robbery at Vital Federal Credit Union on June 23.

Around 9 a.m., police said a man in a bright blue shirt and camouflage shorts entered the credit union on Asheville Highway and presented a note demanding money. He is described as a man between 40 and 50 years old with gray hair and a goatee.

Investigators said the suspect told a teller he was serious and she needed to give him the money. After taking the money, police said he walked out and then ran toward Enterprise Car Rental.

No one was injured in the incident.

Spartanburg officers and county deputies responded and set up a perimeter. A K-9 tracking team was called in but the suspect was unable to be located.

On Wednesday, 37-year-old Joseph Allan Glasner was booked into the Spartanburg County Detention Center on a charge of bank entry with intent to steal.

Glasner is a resident of Cowpens.
