The unsettled weather finally comes to a close later this weekend after one final round of storms this afternoon.
Scattered rain and eventual storms will be possible this afternoon, primarily focusing on areas along and south of I-85 in the Upstate into the Midlands. A few locally stronger storms are possible with gusty, perhaps damaging wind as the main threat.
Any storms that develop should quickly dissipate this evening as the sun sets, leaving a clearing sky overnight and lows dropping into the 60s.
Outside of a few lingering showers in the Upstate Sunday, drier air finally filters into the region. Sunday afternoon should feel crisp and comfortable in the 70s to mid-80s, and that will stick around for most of next week. This will mean comfortable, sunny days and pleasant nights!
