GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office said a man accused of sexual assaults in the 1980s while working as a church bus driver has been arrested again.

Timothy Lee Anders, 62, was employed at Wren memorial Baptist Church where he operated a van and did maintenance work. In 2013, Anders was charged with 27 sex crimes after a victim came forward to say he was assaulted during an eight-year period.

The victim said he met Anders at the church.

Another victim came forward to deputies in 2013 and said she was sexually assaulted beginning at age 8, deputies said. Anders is accused of committing the acts in various places including his home, his car and at the church.

The State Law Enforcement Division said Anders was never convicted of the charges.

In May, Anders was arrested again and charged with eight new child sex crimes after deputies said another victim came forward. The victim was 8 years old at the time of the assault, according to deputies.

On Friday, Anders was booked into the Greenville County Detention Center on four counts of lewd act committed on a minor.

FOX Carolina is working to obtain details about the new charges.
