SIMPSONVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Sixteen hours after his disappearance, a missing teen was located and reunited with his mother Saturday evening.

Casey Clifton said her son Israel snuck out of his window at 3 a.m. Saturday and never came back. She said he sent a text in a group message to his friends saying he was leaving home and wouldn't be going back.

Nearly 16 hours after his disappearance, Israel was located around 7 p.m. His mother said he was picked up at a grocery store and they are talking with deputies.
