GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Crews responded to a gas leak at an Upstate restaurant late Sunday.

The call came from an Olive Garden on the 2000 block of Laurens Road in Greenville.

Daniel Redd, Fire Specialist with Greenville City Fire Department, told FOX that a small fire had started due to a gas leak around the joint of a gas line.

Redd said no one was injured, however, and there was no damage to the building.

The fire alert system was functioning properly.
