GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Expect a mainly sunny sky with temperatures climbing into the upper 70s to middle 80s through the afternoon.
Clouds will begin to build in late tonight and become partly cloudy tomorrow with similar high temperatures but higher humidity and a slight chance of an afternoon shower or two.
Friday will bring a higher chance for some spotty rain and storms as the upper 70s to middle 80s continue with mostly cloudy skies. A cold front will move through on Saturday causing our best chance for rain and thunderstorms which should mainly occur in the afternoon.
Those rain chances gradually begin to back off Sunday into next week as temperatures rise to near 90 degrees in the Upstate and middle 80s in the mountains making it feel like the early July we’re used to feeling in the western Carolinas.
