Billboards pop up to support Anderson mayor after medical emergency

ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The entire Anderson community is hoping for Mayor Terence Roberts to get well soon.

On June 25, Roberts was rushed to AnMed and later airlifted to Greenville Memorial Hospital after becoming light-headed and experiencing shortness of breath.

His family asked for privacy but said he is resting comfortable and speaking with family members. On Monday, he was listed in good condition.

Fairway Outdoor said nine billboards posted with the message "Get well soon Mayor Roberts" are a way for the business to support a key member of their community.

The billboards are at the following locations:
