The South Carolina Department of Transportation said bridge work will close northbound lanes on Highway 29 in Spartanburg County from July 10 through 14.

Crews will be working to replace the bridge approach on U.S. 29 at Groce Road. Due to the work, the northbound lanes on U.S. 29 will be closed between Locust Street and Groce Road.

A detour will be in place directing drivers on Highway 29 north to take SC-129 to I-85.

Drivers are asked to use caution in work zones.
