Hot and muggy with a chance for storms on today, then the second half of the weekend looks drier and not quite as humid!
This afternoon will again be steamy with highs ranging from 84-91 with heat index values again ranging from 90°-100°.
More storms will pop up as well, but the coverage and intensity should not be quite as high as previous days. Still, a few storms could produce gusty, perhaps damaging wind. Any storms should weaken around/just after sunset.
Saturday will be hot once again, with scattered strong storms possible in the afternoon. Sunday looks totally dry as a front moves through and drops humidity levels a bit.
The mugginess will flare back up next week, along with storm chances! We are also watching Tropical Depression 4, but it looks like that will dissipate before getting anywhere near the U.S.
