Deputies said the fire was reported around 1:30 p.m. and they received a tip that children were seen in the stream not far from the facility near the time of the fire.On Friday, deputies said the fire was being investigated as an intentionally-set fire.

They later announced the arrests of two juvenile males who are between the ages of 8 and 14.

Due to their ages, the suspects have not been identified but are charged with third-degree arson and unlawful entry into an enclosed area.

The boys are accused of lighting a paper document on fire with a cigarette lighter and throwing it onto the floor where it spread throughout the mill.

"Thankfully no one was physically injured," Sheriff Rick Clark said. "These two kids obviously made a poor choice and they will have to be held accountable for their actions but that does not prevent us from lifting them in prayer in hopes that others will learn from this clear example of poor judgement."
