GREER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Investigators with the Greer Police Department say they have identified a shoplifting suspect accused of pepper-spraying a store manager.

Officers said the woman captured on surveillance video shoplifted from the Target in Taylors and the Bi-Lo in Greer. After taking groceries from the Bi-Lo, officers said a store manager followed her to try to obtain a license plate number.

The suspect then pepper-sprayed the manager before fleeing in a gold 2000 Toyota Camry, police said.

Officers identified the suspect on Monday as Tisha Lynn Cox. She is wanted for three counts of armed robbery, they said.

"The Greer Police Department urges residents NOT to confront or follow this subject, but to use extreme caution," the Greer Police Department said in a Facebook post.

Anyone with information on the suspect's identity is asked to contact investigators at 864-877-7906.
