This evening, the best chance of rain or storms will be south of I-85...but the intensity of storms seems to be decreasing. Still, heavy rain and pockets of gusty wind over 30 mph remain possible. All rain and storms should be out of the area by 9 PM.
Sunday promises to bring nicer conditions as at least some drier air will be able to work its way into the area. Rain chances at this time look slim to none.
Monday will be very similar except a touch warmer and muggier with more cloud cover without any storms. Pop-up showers and storms return to the area in limited fashion Tuesday through midweek, and will become more widely scattered by the end of the week as heat and humidity gradually build back in.
