The Gaffney Police Department is investigating a shooting at a nightclub early Saturday morning which left multiple victims injured.

When police arrived at the scene, they said there was a large crowd. After securing the area, EMS arrived to aid the victims and transported them to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

According to investigators, the fight moved outside the club and continued to Wall Street and Robinson Street where gunfire was exchanged between vehicles.

A FOX Carolina crew at the scene spoke with the club owner's mother, Cora Rodgers, who said the shooting is simply devastating.

"It's too much violence in this world," said Rodger. "It's sad that people cannot go out and have a good time - it's got to always be a predator that's in the group that's gonna cause chaos and hurt innocent people."

Rodgers also expressed her condolences to the victims involved in the club shooting.

"My heart and my prayers go out to the families, the victims and everything," Rodgers said.
