UNION, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Union police said a fire that damaged an apartment door on Monday is being investigated as arson.

Police said they were called to the apartment building on Meansville Road after fire was reportedly seen coming from the building.

Firefighters and police arrived to find smoke but the only sign of fire was burn damage to a door and some siding above it.

The woman who lived in the apartment was not home at the time, police said.
