Asheville police asking for witnesses in motorcycle crash to come forward

ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

The Asheville Police Department is asking for help from the public in an investigation into a motorcycle crash on Sunday.

Officers said around 1 p.m. a Volkswagen Jetta turned in front of a Honda motorcycle near Interstate 240 and Fairview Road. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police are searching for witnesses in the case who may have additional information on the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Asheville Police Department at 828-252-1110.
