Spartanburg Co. students learn CPR during summer learning event

BOILING SPRINGS, SC (FOX Carolina) -

More than 200 Spartanburg County elementary students will learn how to perform CPR during the District Two Summer Learning Academy’s Community Day event.

The school district said   Spartanburg Regional Health Care will provide CPR training for all participating students.

The SRHS Regional One helicopter will also be at the Community Day event, along with the Boiling Springs Fire Department, Spartanburg EMS, Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office K9 Unit, and Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office Bomb Squad Unit.

The Community Day event is being held at Shoally Creek Elementary School.
