GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville's got bars, bistros and a barrage of other restaurants - but a new diner is bringing options to downtown visitors around the clock.

Diner 24, which is opening Monday on Coffee Street in the place of Charlie's Steak House, is hoping to fill a late-night niche for hungry guests after events in downtown Greenville.

“People have been telling us how happy they are that we are here,” said President and CEO Britton McCorkle.

Even when most places have closed their doors for the night, Diner 24 will be serving up breakfast plates, soups, salads, sandwiches, milkshakes and more.

The restaurant, located across from Ink N Ivy, also said it will offer extended weekly dinner specials from 4 to 10 p.m. and will be pouring locally-sourced coffee.

For the first 30 guests in line on Monday at 6 a.m., Diner 24 is handing out $10 giftcards toward their next visit.
