LOCKHART, SC (FOX Carolina) -

One person was arrested after two people were hurt in a dispute involving a knife at a Union County home Wednesday, according to deputies.

The incident happened at a home on 6th Street in Lockhart.

A man and a woman were cut, deputies said.

The man told deputies he got into an argument with Donald Fowler, 50, over the quality of work Fowler had performed on the victim’s pool.

During the argument, Fowler reportedly pulled something out of his pocket and threatened to cut the pool liner. A fight ended up breaking out between Fowler and the male victim and when the victim’s grandmother tried to break up the scuffle, she was knocked down.

The grandmother suffered a cut on her right arm and an ankle injury.

The man suffered a cut to his left side.

Deputies said Fowler left before they arrived.

Fowler was later arrested and charged with assault.
