Sun and clouds today, with highs reaching the mid to upper 80s across the area. While most areas stay dry, a few spotty storms could pop up in the afternoon and evening, with downpours and gusty wind.
Tomorrow will be much drier with the exception of a stray mountain shower or two. With more sunshine, hotter temperatures start building into the upper 80s in the mountains and lower 90s in the Upstate.
Thursday through Saturday will be a SCORCHER of a stretch with highs in the middle to upper 90s in the Upstate and lower 90s in the mountains putting heat indices in the 100s during this time with virtually no rain chances.
Saturday might bring a few sprinkles in the mountains, but Sunday will present a better chance for afternoon storms as highs back off a bit into the lower 90s early next week in the Upstate.
