Liberty Bridge Jump Off brings Olympic-level pole vault, long jump contest to Greenville

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Liberty Bridge Jump Off will bring Olympic-level athleticism to downtown Greenville on Wednesday, organizers said.

The American Track League and Sandi Morris, who won the silver medal in pole vaulting in the 2016 Olympics, will host the event.

12 professional track and field standouts will compete for prize money during in women’s pole vault and men’s long jump competitions.

Food and live music will also be featured.

The event is free to attend.

Organizers said a portion of South Main Street near the Liberty Bridge will be blocked off for the Jump Off, which is expected to begin at 6:30 p.m.
