Union police: 5 juveniles reportedly assault man at his home

UNION, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Union County police are searching for at least five people accused of beating a man outside his home on Monday.

According to officers, a 38-year-old man claimed five juvenile males beat him with a stick at his home located on Ravenscroft Street. The victim told deputies he was sitting on his front porch with two unknown people when the five males approached him.  The man told deputies that the the five males fled the scene when he fell to the ground as a result of the attack.

Officers said they observed a bleeding laceration above the victim's left eye and he was transported to Union Medical Center for treatment.

The victim was not able to provide officers with a detailed description of the accused suspects.
