GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Greenville Police Department said officers have arrested a man accused of stealing patriotic items from outside an Upstate business.

For the second year in a row, police said American flag banners outside a salon on Laurens Road were stolen. The owners displayed the banners in celebration of July Fourth.

Officers released surveillance video of the suspect in the case who appeared to drive up in a white SUV.

On Aug. 2, Greenville police announced that the suspect had been identified and arrested.

Warrants state Nelson Castillo Jr. was charged with petit larceny.
