SUNSET, SC (FOX Carolina) -

South Carolina's longest operating bar may have burned to the ground, but the community is pitching in to make sure Bob's Place stands once more.

Back in May, the popular tavern was destroyed by a massive fire. Despite the tragedy, the community still stands by the old hangout, and on Saturday morning, bikers met at the Pickens Pool Room for a Poker Run fundraiser.

The money raised will go towards rebuilding the bar. The event wrapped up with a celebration at the site where Bob's Place once stood.

Fire crews deemed the fire suspicious, but so far, no arrests have been made. Anyone interested in donating to rebuilding Bob's Place can do so HERE.
